ServiceLink Completes SOC 2 Type II Audit

Security and trust are foundational to how ServiceLink supports utilities and field operations every day. We’re pleased to share that ServiceLink has successfully completed a SOC 2 Type II audit for the period ending August 1, 2025.

SOC 2 is an industry-recognized framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates how organizations design and operate controls related to security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy. A Type II audit provides independent validation that these controls are not only designed appropriately, but also operating effectively over time.

What this means for our customers

For utilities and partners that rely on ServiceLink to support mission-critical field operations, this audit provides added assurance that we take the protection of customer data seriously. It confirms that our internal controls, policies, and procedures align with leading security practices and are consistently applied across our organization.

Our approach to security

Completing a SOC 2 Type II audit reflects a sustained, company-wide commitment to security, risk management, and operational discipline. This effort required close collaboration across engineering, operations, support, and leadership to ensure security controls are embedded into how we build, operate, and support the ServiceLink platform.

We partnered with Johanson Group LLP, a specialized SOC audit firm, to independently assess our control environment. The audit covered key areas such as access controls, change management, incident response, system monitoring, and business continuity.
