Version 7.6.0 Now Available: Improving Security and Field Operations

We are pleased to announce the release of ServiceLink 7.6.0 (with Field Force v0.68.6), the latest update to our mobile workforce management platform for utilities. This release focuses on strengthening security, streamlining dispatcher workflows, and improving reliability in the field.

Smarter Security and Access

Keeping utility data secure is a priority. With 7.6.0, we have strengthened account protection and made access management more seamless:

  • Web security headers are now built in to safeguard customer and operational data.
  • Field representatives are prompted to update passwords after first login or admin reset.
  • Improved session handling ensures that users stay logged in and productive without interruptions.

Dispatcher Enhancements

Dispatchers rely on speed and clarity when managing a high volume of service orders. In this release we improved:

  • Correct order sorting by priority, so urgent tasks are handled first.
  • Proper display of group values in the dispatcher console for clearer visibility across teams and service areas.

Field Force v0.68.6 Improvements

Our latest Field Force build improves reliability and reduces disruption:

  • Photo uploads now sync reliably to ServiceLink and your CIS.
  • A refreshed Android build delivers better performance and stability.
  • Service orders no longer get stuck in “Onsite” status, allowing field staff to move through their workday without delays.

Why It Matters

For utilities managing large service territories and complex field operations, every improvement translates into faster response times, stronger compliance, and improved customer service. ServiceLink 7.6.0 helps utilities focus on what matters most: Safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery.
